Humanity’s Tower Moment: Answering The Call

Last year’s tower moment ushered the world into a whole new reality. Many were afraid, shocked and even rocked to their core with the notion that life as we knew it, shattered before of us. Why I coined it a tower moment? Because it came unexpectedly; like a whirlwind our lives were changed in an instant. Our sovereignty put to the test in the name of a disease that threatened our very existence.  Our minds became a battleground for fear and hope. It was in our sovereignty and in our will to fall victim to the narrative or focus on a reality we could create in our little corner of the world, in spite of this new threat.

Have we forgotten? Can we recall our resilient spirit? Did we humans forget how strong and powerful we are? Can we remember that we have faced bigger monsters in our past? Have we become so indifferent and numb to our strength and power that we allowed outside sources to infiltrate our minds propelling many of us into a state of fear, hopelessness and helplessness? This tower moment was an opportunity for us to remember who we are. Many of us were already on that path, others refused to give in to fear and answered the call and yet, many others are still quivering in fear, asleep to who they are.

Question is, what are we as a collective giving our attention to?  What channels, voices and energies did we open the doors of our spirit to? What did we allow entry to, impacting our minds, eyes, ears and heart? Did we entertain fear, doom and gloom or did we take the higher road and create safety and hope in our space? The choices we made in how we handled and responded to this tower moment impacted our individual reality. Many expanded through this moment and many experienced loss. Experiences that were in or out of our control; causing many pain and suffering. Yet, our outcome depended on how we answered the call. Ultimately, how did I choose to respond?

It is in the response to these experiences that can make or break the human spirit. It takes courage to rise above the fires and debris to meet hope again. As the tower continues to crumble and burn away all that was, will we answer the call to what could be? Will we show up as the powerful, strong resilient beings we are, who have faced many tower moments in our live times. Fully knowing within the depths of our souls that this too shall pass. As the spirit of the phoenix stirs up within us, humanity will rise from the ashes, as we have done so before. Hope is waiting……. Will we answer the call?
