It has been a little over a year since I have posted a blog on my website. Not that I have been too busy nor neglectful. However, I felt a call and a need for seclusion; an urgency to go within and continue the work of self-discovery. Learning that in isolation we can reach the depths of our soul and uncover truths that could set us free in ways we could never imagine. As we do away with distractions, we open our minds and hearts to receive the truths of our soul. The truth that was imprinted in us before we manifested into this world. The truths that were buried by the programming of cultural beliefs, norms, rules, religion, life experiences, etc. Truths that we must uncover to “remember who we are”.
I decided to go on hermit mode as there was a need to turn off the noise and isolate myself. I soon became aware that there is power, when all we have left is; “me, myself and I”. Why then, do so many of us fear or avoid solitude? Such moments are gifts from spirit; beckoning us to commune, to go into the depths of our souls and retrieve what was hidden. A time to recover our treasures. I strongly believe that there is an appointed time to awaken to who we really are, and this awakening will come with hell and fire if we disregard the nudging. That stirring within us that says something is not quite right with our soul. Even when things in our lives “appear” to be going well; if we are not living the truth of who we are, our soul will sound the alarm, hoping that we are conscious enough to hear it.
Hence, my awakening came with hell and fire as I feared addressing the things in my life that were keeping me from who I am. I needed to take back my power, cut the chords of codependency, learn to accept myself and truly look at myself with loving eyes. I learned how to fall in love with “me, myself and I”. Only then, could I answer the call of seclusion. This was the time for my spiritual initiation and the work I came here to do. 2019 was a year of testing, transformation and fully coming into who I am, a fire goddess. Thus, I had to go through fire to harness and balance that energy. That energy that is purifying, destructive, cleansing, energetic, sexual, healing, forceful, ever changing, passionate, creative, motivating, full of will power, drive and sensuality, self-sufficient, self-directed with an inner focus; an energy that can do great work when it is balanced.
My silence this year was to discover and unleash the fire goddess within. It also solidified for me the birthing of Unleash Your Lioness in 2017 and the hopes for its evolution. During my time in isolation, the power of the word through life coaching sessions and sharing my experiences in my podcast were the tools that empowered the emergence of the fire goddess. Inside each of us are hidden treasures. Our journey is to discover the treasures within. Our soul will lead the way. All we have to do is go within.
